Sometimes you need a bit of a break from the usual – today is that day! This installment of Word Well Wednesday is completely out of my norm.  First of all, it’s actually Thursday – sometimes I lose track of what day it is!  Second, the words that follow are a glimpse of what goes on in my brain on a daily basis.  Welcome to the chaos and enjoy!

There are the embedded words:

Hello               Why is hell apart of every hello?

Extraordinary Do you want to be extra ordinary?

Function          Are functions, whether mathematical or gatherings, truly fun?

Then there are the prefixed words we use daily.  Have you ever thought of their composition?

Encourage      en means within; to encourage, you’re promoting courage.

Exhaust           ex means out of; when we’re exhausted, we’ve given everything out of ourselves.

Discover          dis means not; to discover, something is no longer hidden.

Compromise   com means to come together; compromise is to bring promises together in agreement.

This has to be my favorite!

Recreation      re means again; re-creation, bringing something into existence again.  The field of
making things fun again!
